Search Pulaski County Traffic Records

Pulaski County traffic court records are District Court case records, not the same file as a Kentucky driver history record. A Pulaski County traffic citation lookup may involve KYeCourts public access, ePay, the KCOJ docket portal, the Circuit Court Clerk, and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet when the question is license status or driver history. Traffic citations can lead to fines, costs, traffic school referral, failure-to-appear issues, or criminal handling when the charge is serious.

No separate Pulaski County citation-number portal was verified beyond Kentucky Court of Justice systems. The official path is KYeCourts guest access for public case information, KCOJ ePay for eligible fees, fines, and costs, the docket portal for hearing dates, and the Pulaski Circuit Court Clerk for phone or counter help. The clerk's local page says some court costs and traffic tickets may be paid by credit or debit card by phone at 606-677-4029, but bond and filing fees cannot be paid by phone card payment.

Kentucky's three-year Driving History Record portal is a traffic source assigned to this Pulaski County page.

That portal is useful for driver history, but it does not replace the Pulaski District Court traffic case record.

  1. Read the citation and identify the court date, court division, and whether prepayment appears possible.
  2. Use KYeCourts guest access or ePay for public case information and eligible online payment.
  3. Use the KCOJ docket portal with Pulaski County, District division, and the hearing date for calendar information.
  4. Call Circuit Court Clerk J.S. Flynn's office at 606-677-4029 before paying by phone or missing a court date.
  5. Use KYTC driver history records only when the question is license status, restrictions, points, or driver history.

Pulaski County Traffic Courts

Traffic offenses in Pulaski County are District Court matters because Kentucky District Court handles traffic offenses, violations, misdemeanors, and city or county ordinance cases. Pulaski District Court is housed at the Pulaski County Court of Justice with Circuit Court, Family Court, and the Circuit Court Clerk. A serious traffic matter, such as a DUI or a case that becomes part of a felony prosecution, can intersect with criminal court records.

The issuing agency does not change the court path by itself. A citation written by the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department, Somerset Police Department, Burnside Police Department, Science Hill Police Department, Eubank Police Department, Ferguson Police Department, or Kentucky State Police can still become a Pulaski District Court traffic case. Police crash reports and agency incident reports are separate records. Court traffic records start when the citation or charging paper is filed in the court system.

Pulaski County Citation Lookup Fields

The research found no local Pulaski citation portal with a captured citation-number field table. KYeCourts guest access and the docket portal are the documented court channels. For the docket portal, Pulaski users select county, division, date, and optional courtroom or subdivision. For KYeCourts guest access, the visible guest entry requires a checkbox and continue action before downstream fields.

The docket portal is best for a hearing-date question. It is not a certified court record and carries a warning that information can change due to system limits, delay, reprogramming, or ordinary court updates. For a certified copy, payment dispute, or proof of disposition, contact the Circuit Court Clerk rather than relying on a docket printout.

Pulaski County Traffic Record Fields

A traffic court record is the court's case file or public case entry for the citation. It may include the citation or case number, defendant name, charge, statute, court date, plea, disposition, fine, court costs, payment eligibility, and failure-to-appear events. The exact Pulaski public case screen was not inspected, so these fields should be treated as expected court traffic fields from the Kentucky court research, not a captured Pulaski sample screen.

Charge or statuteTraffic offense, violation, misdemeanor, or ordinance cited.

Plea or dispositionOutcome such as paid, dismissed, amended, guilty, or other court result.
Fine and costsFinancial amounts that may be eligible for payment.
Failure to appearMissed court events that can create warrants or license consequences.

Pay Pulaski County Traffic Tickets

Pulaski's KCOJ page lists cash, check, money order, credit cards, and debit cards for court-related payments, with a fee applying to card payments. It also says some fees, court costs, and traffic tickets can be paid by credit or debit card by phone through the clerk. Do not assume every citation is prepayable. Some tickets require an appearance, and payment may affect the plea or disposition.

To contest a ticket, appear on the date shown or contact the Circuit Court Clerk for procedure. Paying a citation may end the court case but can still affect the driver history record. If the ticket may involve DUI, driving on a suspended license, fleeing, injury, or another criminal issue, review the full Pulaski County criminal court records path as well.

Failure to appear can create new problems beyond the original fine. A missed Pulaski District Court date may lead to a bench warrant, added court costs, or driver-license consequences depending on the case. If the citation was already paid, keep proof of payment until the court case and driver record have both updated. If the driver moved after receiving the citation, confirm that the court and KYTC have a reliable address before waiting for mailed notices.

Traffic Court Versus Driver Record

This distinction is the most common Pulaski traffic records mistake. The court traffic record is held by the Kentucky Court of Justice and Pulaski Circuit Court Clerk for the District Court case. The driver record is held by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and Kentucky.gov. A person may need both, but one does not replace the other.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet driver history page explains full and three-year driver records.

Use the KYTC page when the question is the driver file, not when the question is a court pleading, court date, or judge's order.

Pulaski County Traffic School

Kentucky State Traffic School is not a self-selected county shortcut. KYTC says the District Court where the citation was received must refer the driver. After referral, the Division of Driver Licensing sends instructions to the address on the driver's license at the time of referral. Pulaski drivers should ask the District Court or Circuit Court Clerk whether referral is available before assuming eligibility.

Traffic school can be tied to the court disposition and the driver record, so timing matters. A driver who pays first, misses court, or ignores the mailed referral may lose options that were available at the start. Commercial drivers should be especially careful because CDL consequences can differ from ordinary driver consequences, and the court record may not show every administrative effect on the license.

The Kentucky State Traffic School page is the assigned manifest source for traffic school.

Traffic school referral can affect how a citation is handled, but the court must first make the referral.

Pulaski County Traffic Fees

The research did not locate a Pulaski-specific traffic copy fee schedule from the Circuit Court Clerk. The local court page does verify payment methods and phone payment limits. Kentucky's three-year Driving History Record portal posts a $3 record fee plus a $3 electronic access fee. KYTC open records requests are separate written requests for nonexempt transportation records.

The KYTC open records page is the official transportation-record request source assigned to this traffic page.

Phone card paymentSome costs and traffic tickets accepted, card fee applies.

Kentucky three-year DHR$3 record fee plus $3 electronic access fee.

Kentucky's public three-year driver history record is limited by design. The KYTC research says it includes driver status, license expiration, driving restrictions, and traffic violations, but it does not include crash information, address, sex, date of birth, or Social Security number. A full or certified driver history uses form TC 94-195 and may require authorization and notarization. That form route is useful for driver-history proof, while Pulaski court copies still come from the court record channel.

Note: For crash reports, use police, Kentucky State Police, or transportation crash report channels rather than court traffic records.
