Search Pulaski County Court Records
Pulaski County does not have a separate county-built portal for civil and criminal case records. The official online starting point is KYeCourts public records guest access, which Kentucky Court of Justice describes as free access to public case information throughout the state. Hearing dates use the separate Kentucky Court of Justice docket search. Copy requests, certified records, sealed-file questions, and older case files route through the Pulaski County Office of Circuit Court Clerk.
The local clerk channel matters because the Circuit Court Clerk is the keeper of Circuit, Family, and District Court case records in Pulaski County. The County Clerk at 100 North Main Street handles land records, marriage licenses, notaries, elections, liens, and vehicle records. It is a useful public office, but it is not the court case records clerk.
- Identify the case type first. Felony, divorce, adoption, large civil, family, and contested probate matters are Circuit or Family Court matters.
- Use KYeCourts guest access for public case information when an online case lookup is enough.
- Use the docket portal when the need is a hearing date, courtroom, division, or calendar entry.
- Call or visit the Circuit Court Clerk for copies, certified copies, older files, or a record that does not appear online.
- If the file is stored off-site, ask the clerk for case and file locator numbers before contacting the State Records Center.

Pulaski County Court Record Fields
The docket search has the clearest visible field set in the research. It is not a full case-file database, but it helps narrow Pulaski County court records by date and court division. For KYeCourts guest access, the research confirmed the checkbox and continue step, but downstream case-detail fields were not captured without interactive access. That gap should be read as an access limit, not as proof that fields do not exist.

Registered access does not replace the clerk's office for certified Pulaski County court records, but it is an official Kentucky court channel for eligible account holders.
Types of Pulaski County Court Records
Pulaski County court records come from Circuit Court, Family Court, and District Court. Circuit Court handles felonies, civil cases over $5,000, divorces, adoptions, termination of parental rights, real property title disputes, contested probate matters, injunctions, writs, appeals from District Court, and administrative appeals. Family Court is a Circuit Court division in Pulaski County for divorce, support, custody, adoption, domestic violence, dependency, neglect, abuse, and juvenile status matters.
District Court records include misdemeanors, violations, traffic cases, city and county ordinance matters, juvenile matters, probate of wills, felony arraignments, probable-cause hearings, small claims up to $2,500, civil cases up to $5,000, mental-health commitments, and domestic violence matters. Some of those files are public, while others are restricted by case type or court order.
- Civil records may include complaints, answers, motions, orders, judgments, writs, injunctions, and appeals.
- Criminal records may include charges, arraignment entries, bond, pleas, hearings, verdicts, sentencing, and final disposition.
- Family records may include divorce and custody filings, with adoption, juvenile, and some protective details restricted.
- Probate records may include wills, estate petitions, fiduciary appointments, inventories, notices, and settlements.
- Traffic records may include citation number, charge, court date, plea, disposition, fines, costs, and payment status.
What Pulaski County Court Records Show
The research did not include an inspected Pulaski case-detail screen, so field language should stay tied to Kentucky court context and typical public case records. A Pulaski County court record may show enough information to identify the case, track public events, and find the office that can provide copies. It may not include every document online, and public searches may omit sealed, juvenile, expunged, mental-health, and protected personal data.

AOC criminal reports are useful for statewide criminal-history requests, but they are not the same as a full Pulaski County court case file from the Circuit Court Clerk.
Pulaski County Court Records Access
Kentucky's Open Records Act supplies the public-records framework for many public agencies. KRS 61.870 defines key terms, KRS 61.872 covers the right of Kentucky residents to inspect public records, and KRS 61.880 covers agency responses and denials. Court case records, however, follow Kentucky Court of Justice access channels, so local case-file requests begin with the Pulaski Circuit Court Clerk.
For media access to CourtNet, Kentucky AOC uses a separate approval process. The CourtNet contact page notes that CourtNet includes public case information from all 120 counties, but AOC is not the general public records desk and does not maintain the source case files.
For ordinary Pulaski County court records, use KYeCourts, dockets, and the Circuit Court Clerk rather than the media-only CourtNet request route.

Restricted Pulaski County Court Records
Public access does not mean every court filing is open. Juvenile court records are restricted under Kentucky law, and AOC criminal reports do not include juvenile cases. Mental-health cases, adoption files, many domestic-violence details, sealed files, expunged records, and personal identifiers are also outside ordinary public view. When a Pulaski County court record is sealed or expunged, public search tools may show no result or only limited status information, and access usually requires party status, counsel, statutory authority, or a court order.
Pulaski County Court Record Requests
For copies of Circuit, Family, or District Court case records, start with the Office of Circuit Court Clerk at the Pulaski County Court of Justice. J.S. Flynn is listed by Kentucky Court of Justice as the Pulaski County Circuit Court Clerk. The office can direct requesters to current files, explain available copy channels, and provide case and file locator numbers when an older public file is stored outside the local office.
Bring the case number if known, the names of the parties, the court division, and the approximate filing or hearing date. For traffic or misdemeanor cases, a citation number can help. For divorce, probate, or civil files, use the party names and case type. If a record is needed for filing, licensing, appeal, or another formal use, ask whether a certified copy is required rather than relying on an online printout.

Older records may sit at the State Records Center or another records facility. KCOJ says those requests need the case and file locator numbers from the local clerk because state storage cannot search by name or Social Security number.
Older Pulaski County Court Records
Older Pulaski County court records can require more than an online search. KCOJ explains that, depending on type and age, a case file may still be in the Circuit Court Clerk's office, may be stored at a record facility, or may have been destroyed under retention schedules. The local clerk is the first stop because the clerk can tell a requester whether the file is current, off-site, restricted, or no longer available.
If a public file is at the State Records Center, the request must include case and file locator numbers from the Circuit Court Clerk. KCOJ also identifies Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives routes for some older records. County Clerk records are separate: Pulaski County land records go back to around 1799, but online land records start around 1990, so older recorded documents may require the County Clerk's in-person or copy-request channel.
